JDAir is excited to partner with Practical Kitplane Gear to offer a new accessory to use in conjunction with your JDAir Slider Canopy Grab Handles.

Mirrors are the perfect way to keep an eye on tandem passengers, aircraft taxiing behind you, clearing behind for run up, checking smoke is on/off/empty, confirming the trim tab is neutral (we had this exact indication problem ourselves, saved by the mirror instead of having to loosen straps) and seeing your formation buddies.  They've become an indispensable accessory on our aircraft!

Available in three colors with the chemically polished thin stainless steel mirror (bonded in place with genuine 3M 300LSE double-sided film). These feature a 14mm ball-end at the base (to prevent movement under high G), a 12mm ball end on the mirror end and a rotating barrel to optimize alignment.  

Featuring a concave base exactly match the 1-1/4" windshield bow of all sliding canopy RVs (will fit Rockets/Raiders with a 1-1/16" bow too), the anodized 6061 ball end mirror mounting kit can be secured straight on with the 6-32 bolt (included) and optional bolt head fairing through the windshield bow (into a captive nyloc nut), or from the front of the ball-end into your existing/future JD Air Slider Canopy Grab Handles.
